Message download window

In this window you may see what actually program does while downloading your mail/news articles from servers. Upper drop-down box contains list of accounts binded to that window and may be used to select which connection progress is currently viewed. Next to that box you can find three buttons useful for switching active connections:

ButtonMeaning
+Switches to next connection
-Switches to previous connection
!Switches to next idle connection (if preselection is active)

Lower field contains information about connection status - amount of messages on all accounts monitored by this window, amount of messages downloaded so far, for current connection - transfer speed and connection time. Progress bars on the right inform about whole connection (upper bar) and current message (lower bar) progress. Two buttons available at bottom of window are used to start actual message downloading if preselection is active (left button) and terminating connection or closing window (right button). To break connection or close it prematurely (only if pipelining is disabled), click right button once. Click it second time to immediately terminate connection. Note that terminating a connection may cause preselection choices to be ignored and deleted messages to be not actually deleted.

Account/server contents list, available at the center of the window, informs about senders, subjects and sizes of messages. Move mouse over message and wait 1-2 seconds to display a tooltip for that message containing most basic message information (if available). Double click entry on list to display its header or whole message (if it was already downloaded). If double clicking doesn't work, its probably because neither message nor its header was downloaded yet.

Messages are denoted with colors (you can always change them using configuration window):

On the right side of the list you may find two columns with checkboxes - left is used for marking messages for download and right for marking messages for removal. If both checkboxes are checked, removal will be performed after successfully downloading message. Click a column with right mouse button to toggle checkmark on whole column (eg. to toggle column state for all messages).

Message list has its own popup menu allowing you - among already mentioned things - also closing connection prematurely and terminating only selected connection.
